The second annual Steamy Lit Con kicked off with a bang, drawing romance lovers from all corners of the globe to celebrate a diverse and vibrant array of authors, books, and readers. Held in Anaheim, CA, the event boasted an impressive lineup of authors who set the stage for a weekend of excitement, heart-pounding romance, and unforgettable moments. The mastermind behind the event, affectionately known as Mel (@bookrecsbymel), started the event last year to highlight diverse writers in the space. She and her team worked tirelessly to bring about a truly one of one experience that readers are sure to talk about all year long!
Attendees were treated to a packed schedule filled with panel discussions, book signings, and clever fan experiences. It was heartwarming to see readers coming together to share their love for the genre. The event is undoubtedly a highlight in the romance community’s calendar, and the energy from day one was nothing short of electric.
Among the standout authors in attendance were the legends, Beverly Jenkins and Nalini Sing, both authors, fans have had little excess.
